Giggle with the ‘Heartstopper’ Cast over These Bloopers

From on-set sing-alongs and forgotten lines, the Heartstopper cast is too adorable.

    May 9, 2022

Heartstopper is filled with moments so cute and heartwarming that you may have shed a tear or two while watching (and re-watching) the coming-of-age series. But in this moment, the only tears that will be shed will be from laughing just as hard as the Heartstopper cast did while filming Season 1. We’ve got a blooper reel, straight from the Truham and Higgs campuses.

Wipe Your Tears & Giggle With the Heartstopper Cast Over These BloopersHow to fall in love with the Heartstopper cast in two minutes: watch the behind-the-scenes bloopers.

Even though Nick (Kit Connor) and Tao (William Gao) may not be the closest of mates in the series, the actors playing them can not keep a straight face as Gao attempts to very seriously chew and stare down Nick in one clip from the blooper reel (but doesn’t succeed).

The reel also features a fair number of times when Corinna Brown, who plays Tara, bursts into song on-set. She sings Drake’s “In My Feelings” with Kizzy Edgell, who plays Tara’s girlfriend, Darcy, and Yasmin Finney, who plays Elle. And during a scene where it’s raining, she sings the line “It’s like rain” from Alanis Morisette’s “Ironic.” Corinna Brown, scholar of song association!

Isaac (Tobie Donovan) walks in on an awkward moment between Nick and Charlie (Joe Locke), making the moment even more awkward, and later, Joe Locke doesn’t realize he’s begun a scene while still wearing his mask!

And Olivia Colman is so overcome by Nick’s coming-out scene, that she can’t remember the words she’s supposed to say next. She tells Kit Connor, “I just got all overwhelmed... your little face.”
