The stars — and suspects — hit the red carpet as Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery premiered on Sunday night at the London Film Festival. There’s no word yet on whodunit. Maybe Daniel Craig in the natty bespoke suit? A tattooed Dave Bautista sans shirt? Or maybe Kate Hudson… nah, she looked too glam to get her hands dirty with something like murder.
Rian Johnson’s star-studded follow-up to 2019’s Knives Out is a hotly anticipated new mystery that plunges Craig’s detective Benoit Blanc into a perilous dinner party full of intrigue and, eventually, a body count. Set on a billionaire’s private Grecian island, this is no Knives Out clone. Like the iconic Agatha Christie, Johnson chose to send his Southern-fried sleuth on an all-new case, with an all-new roster of shady eccentrics.
In attendance at Glass Onion’s red carpet premiere were none other than Johnson and Benoit Blanc himself, Daniel Craig, along with many of the film’s other cast members: Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kate Hudson, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline and Kathryn Hahn — all of whom can be seen in our slideshow from the festival’s closing night below. It was pretty bold of this crew to make such a public show of things when at least one of them is wanted for… dun-dun-DUN… murder.
