Miami’s two hottest designers aren’t just competitors — they’re also husband and wife. Eilyn and Ray Jimenez are making South Florida chicer one house at a time in their new series Designing Miami, premiering September 21. She’s a minimalist with a clean aesthetic; he prefers a maximalist approach. Together, they’ll design the house of your dreams. The show will give viewers a glimpse into how the design power couple juggles their deep-pocketed clients, a staff of young designers, their close-knit families and their relationship with each other. Working with family isn’t always easy, but the stylish duo manages to pull it off with a healthy sense of humor.
Eilyn is the founder and creative director of Sire Design in Miami. The studio touts its ability to create spaces “rooted in modernist principles of design and architecture.” Ray is the founder of Raymond Nicolas, a creative multi-faceted design house specializing in the diverse and intrinsic world of architecture and interior design. Bringing together their creative expertise and different approaches, there’s no doubt that Miami’s dynamic duo will serve up some stunning looks this coming fall.
