It’s a tale as old as time: Girl meets boy, boy hates girl, girl and boy accidentally end up in an anonymous online friendship without knowing it. This is Anonymously Yours, a new high school romantic-comedy from first-time director Maria Torres. The movie is all about young love, so it makes sense that the Anonymously Yours cast is full of rising stars — and one very, very famous TikToker. Let’s meet them:

Annie Cabello as Valeria Annie Cabello stars as Valeria, a high school senior who dreams of becoming a filmmaker but feels stifled by the expectations of her parents, who want her to join the family business. Things start to change for her when she strikes up an anonymous friendship with a stranger who accidentally texts her, while also getting close to Álex, the new kid at school she can’t stand — at first. Cabello is relatively new to acting. Though she recently appeared in La Negociadora, a Mexican television thriller, Anonymously Yours is her first leading role. You can follow Cabello on Instagram @anniecabello_

Ralf as Álex

Ralf plays Álex, the new kid in school who doesn’t really get along with everyone else. He’s a scholarship student who feels out of place among his elite classmates and only finds solace in talking to “Anonymous,” a girl he struck up a friendship with via text. Ralf is a TikTok star, with over 15.5 million followers on the platform. His videos are more on the goofy side, though he has been known to participate in a dance challenge or two. Estefi Merelles as Regina

Estefi Merelles plays Regina, Valeria’s outgoing best friend. She pushes Valeria to get closer to Álex after she starts dating his best friend, Lina. Anonymously Yours is Estefi’s first acting credit. But, based on her Instagram, it looks like she’s been working in front of the camera as a model for a while.

Harold Azuara as Richie

Harold Azuara plays Richie, Regina’s brother who’s desperate for internet fame. He’s dramatic but has a good heart, and he’s got a special soft spot for Valeria. Before Anonymously Yours, Azuara started his career on TV in Mexico playing Monche in La CQ and appearing in El color de la pasión, Divina, está en tu corazón and, most recently, Rosario Tijeras, to name a few.  You can follow Azuara on Instagram @azuaraharold

Alicia Vélez as Lina

Alicia Vélez plays Lina, Álex’s extroverted best friend who falls hard and fast for Regina. Vélez previously worked as a voice actor on the Mexican TV show Los Creadores, and she reportedly dubbed the voice of Clementine in the final season of The Walking Dead.
