The Japanese sci-fi thriller Alice in Borderland follows a gamer, Arisu, and his high school friends after they’re mysteriously transported to an alternate dimension — one where staying alive means clearing a series of increasingly brutal games tied to a deck of playing cards. Based on the manga of the same name by Haro Aso, the show spans three seasons and introduces a growing roster of players, citizens, and masterminds along the way.
