What’s in a (stage) name? Kristen Bell, the host of the 2026 Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA, kicked off the ceremony with a musical tribute to a variety of actors’ stage names. But only a few of those names took home awards when the stars of the year’s biggest movies and series gathered in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 1, to recognize their own.
You can read all about the ceremony and the full list of winners on Tudum. But if you’re looking to keep celebrating the evening’s big winners and dive into their wide-ranging bodies of work, keep reading to learn about their many movies and series on Netflix.

Jessie Buckley had already won Golden Globe, BAFTA, and Critics Choice awards before taking home the Actor Awards trophy for her part as Shakespeare’s wife, Agnes, in Hamnet, a historical drama written and directed by Chloé Zhao, co-starring Paul Mescal. The Irish actor — known for her work in writer-director Alex Garland’s folk horror film Men and Sarah Polley’s Oscar-winning drama Women Talking — delivers more dramatic performances in The Lost Daughter, which co-stars Olivia Colman, and the surrealist psychological thriller I’m Thinking of Ending Things, in which she plays a woman who’s rethinking her relationship with her boyfriend (Jesse Plemons).
Sinners star Michael B. Jordan received a standing ovation from the audience — and a hug from his co-star Delroy Lindo — when he won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role. Jordan got his start in television dramas like All My Children and Friday Night Lights, and is best known for his other collaborations with Sinners writer-director Ryan Coogler, including Fruitvale Station, Creed, and Black Panther. For more Jordan action, you can watch him play a loving but absent father in the superhero series Raising Dion and an interstellar pilot in Love, Death + Robots. You can also get to know more about his life and career in his episode of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman.
Amy Madigan won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her part as the seemingly feeble Gladys in writer-director Zach Cregger’s horror flick Weapons. This is Madigan’s first Actor Award win, though she’s been working as an actor since the early ’80s. She got her start in series like Hart to Hart and starred in movies like Love Child, The Hunt, and Twice in a Lifetime, the latter of which earned her an Oscar nomination. Madigan also co-starred with Kevin Costner in the Best Picture nominee Field of Dreams, which you can watch on Netflix.
The award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role went to Sean Penn for his part in writer-director Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another, in which he plays the villainous Steven J. Lockjaw. The movie marks Penn’s second collaboration with Anderson, with the first being Licorice Pizza. Penn is known for his work in intense dramas like Dead Man Walking, Daddio, Mystic River, and Milk — with the latter two earning him Oscars — and thrillers like The Game and The Gunman.
Keri Russell, star of The Americans, Felicity, and Austenland, won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for playing Kate Wyler in Season 3 of Netflix’s The Diplomat. The series follows Kate as she juggles her high-profile new job as ambassador to the United Kingdom and her stormy relationship with her husband.

Noah Wyle, who first gained prominence in the ’90s for the medical drama ER, won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series for The Pitt, which also won Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. Between his rounds in fictional emergency departments, Wyle starred in the fantasy adventure movie The Librarian: Quest for the Spear and its sequels, as well as the postapocalyptic sci-fi series Falling Skies.
The late, great Catherine O’Hara won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her role as hypercapable Hollywood studio executive Patty in The Studio. The Schitt’s Creek star, who was also honored during the ceremony’s In Memoriam segment, worked for over five decades as a beloved comedy and drama actor, taking on roles in movies like Home Alone, Beetlejuice, Best in Show, For Your Consideration, Waiting for Guffman, and A Mighty Wind.
Multihyphenate Seth Rogen — who accepted O’Hara’s posthumous award on her behalf — won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for The Studio, which he co-created. His role as the well-intentioned studio exec Matt Remick comes after years of work in comedies like Pineapple Express, Like Father, Superbad, and Sausage Party, as well as the occasional romance like Long Shot and Take This Waltz.
The award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series went to Michelle Williams for her role in Dying for Sex, which co-stars Jenny Slate. While Williams has received acclaim for her roles in dramas like Blue Valentine, Manchester by the Sea, and The Fabelmans, she got her start as Jen Lindley on the cult-favorite teen soap Dawson’s Creek, which is available on Netflix.
Owen Cooper won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series for his role in Adolescence. In it, he plays Jamie Miller, a 13-year-old boy who’s arrested on suspicion of killing a girl in his class. While the series features his first onscreen performance, Cooper also recently co-starred with Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi in Wuthering Heights as young Heathcliff.

Whether he’s playing Han Solo or the President of the United States, Harrison Ford brings a certain panache to his roles. That’s why his friend Woody Harrelson presented him with the Life Achievement Award at this year’s ceremony, an honor he jokingly referred to as “encouraging” in his acceptance speech. Over the course of his 60-year career, Ford has embodied iconic characters and achieved global stardom for his roles in franchises like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Blade Runner, action flicks like Patriot Games, The Fugitive, and The Expendables 3, and thrillers like K-19: The Widowmaker, Presumed Innocent, and Witness, the latter of which earned him an Oscar nomination.
