As this year’s NFL season gets underway, one of the most highly anticipated stories set to unfold over the next few months is that of New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. After tearing his left Achilles last year just four offensive snaps into the 2023 season, he’s spent the last year preparing to get back on the field. But game-day plays and press conferences can only reveal a small part of the four-time MVP’s story. Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, a three-episode documentary series produced by Religion of Sports (Simone Biles: Rising), Skydance Sports, and NFL Films, will reveal a side of Rodgers that few get to see on December 17.

The new docuseries is just one of many upcoming Netflix titles that will bring the sweat and intensity of elite athletics directly into fans’ living rooms. New and returning sports titles include:

Episode 1, “Becoming”
After an Achilles injury derails his 2023 debut with the Jets, Aaron Rodgers commits to a speedy recovery while reflecting on his rocky path to the NFL.
Episode 2, “Awakening”
Conflicted about his fame, Rodgers begins a self-realization journey, experimenting with alternative medicine and religion — and igniting controversy.
Episode 3, “Reckoning”
Rodgers draws criticism with his stance on vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Amid murmurs about his age, he learns the Packers are shopping him.
