Mahiro, the Demons' second-in-command, reveals his surprising background as he overwhelms Akira. Night and Akira work together to fight back.

The Hero party invites Akira and his companions to a festival in the nearby city of Mali, where Amelia befriends a girl named Latticenail.

After agreeing on their ultimate goal, Akira and the Hero party split up. Amelia, Crow and Akira head toward the Beastmen capital of Uruk City.

Crow and Akira's goals align as they realize the mastermind behind everything. Amelia shows concern for Akira, while Lia has feelings for Crow.
