Xolo Maridueña: Oh, Jacob loved ‘Damsel.’ Oh, he loves dragons.
Jacob Bertrand: I do love dragons. What I like about it, dragon tries to eat Millie Bobby Brown, but she ain't having it. She's like, you know, “’Damsel,’ ‘Rambo.’”
Dallas Liu: My favorite original is ‘Marriage Story.’
[’Marriage Story’ CLIP] Adam Driver: Oh, OK, good.
Dallas Liu: I actually watched ‘Marriage Story’ with Ian for the first time ever.
Jacob Bertrand: Oh, that’s funny.
Ian Ousley: I have, like, an underground one. Like a hot take. It’s called ‘Squid Game.’
Kirby Howell-Baptiste: I just finished ‘Supacell,’ and I absolutely loved it. People kept telling me about it, and I ended up watching it and it was fantastic.
Alycia Debnam-Carey: I’ve been watching ‘Emily in Paris.’ It’s just so fun.
Kirby Howell-Baptiste: It is fun.
[Alycia Debnam-Carey:] It’s so easy to watch. Like, especially traveling. It’s like, I get in bed and get in a robe and I’m just like, “Ah, yes, perfect.”
Kelsey Asbille: Yeah.
Alycia Debnam-Carey: But it’s … it’s just so fun.
[’Emily in Paris’ CLIP] Lily Collins (as Emily): Thank you.
Kelsey Asbille: I have loved ‘Stranger Things’ from the beginning, which is no surprise. So have, like, millions and millions of others. But I’m so ready for this last season. So y’all need to hurry up with that one.
[‘Stranger Things’ CLIP] Gaten Matarazzo (as Dustin): Copy that. Initiating Phase 3.
Zack Snyder: ‘Stranger Things’ came along and offered you something that no one else was offering at the time. We were all nostalgic for it, we all loved it, but it does something to us that we don’t expect or know. It’s a crazy, awesome show.
Joe Manganiello: Kids on bikes, in neighborhoods … solving the sorts of things that we dreamed, maybe, would be happening when we were kids. It feels like this dream that I had of the ’80s.
[‘Stranger Things’ CLIP] Joseph Quinn (as Eddie Munson): Time to wake up, okay? Hello? Can you hear me?
Gavin Leatherwood: I actually just watched an episode last night on Netflix of this show called ‘Parasyte: The Grey]’. Not the movie. And it feels very, like, ‘Resident Evil’–esque, and there’s this alien species that comes to Earth and starts crawling into peoples’ ears, and it turns them into these aliens where the human body is the host. And … and their heads, like, split open and there are these alien things, and … I’m not gonna give away anymore.
James Morosini: That sounds cool.
Gavin Leatherwood: It’s really cool.
James Morosini: Not to, like, geek out and say ‘Black Mirror’ every time, but I … I think that’s the GOAT.
Finn Wittrock: I love ‘Black Mirror.’
James Morosini: Best show on Netflix. I love it.
Gavin Leatherwood: That show’s so good.
James Morosini: It’s different every time. It’s just so imaginative. I mean, every time there’s a new season, I’ll just, like, binge the entire thing.
Gavin Leatherwood: And then ‘Love Death + Robots’ on top of that. [to Finn Wittrock] Have you seen ‘Love Death + Robots’?
Finn Wittrock: No, I haven’t.
Gavin Leatherwood: That’s one you’re definitely sleeping on. Anthology series. Different animators each episode. It's ******* cool.
[‘Love Death + Robots’ CLIP] Yes, sir. Thank you, sir.
Gavin Leatherwood: What were you gonna say?
Finn Wittrock: I just love ‘The Crown.’ I’ve been a fan from the beginning.
James Morosini: I gotta get into that.
[‘The Crown’ CLIP] Imelda Staunton (as Queen Elizabeth II): Was there anything else? Because I think this one could really use my attention.
Brittany O’Grady: ‘Sex Education,’ 1,000%. ‘Sex Education’ is about a bunch of high schoolers having some sort of awakening and discovering themselves. And they’ve got a really beautiful ensemble and I think the show does a great job representing so many different people from all different walks of life. And it’s hysterical.
Lera Abova: ‘Human Resources.’ Basically what they do is just all about the monsters, but like about how they are there for the feelings of adults. A lot of things about death and stuff, so I think it’s a really cute, nice show.
Jeff Ward: “A lot of things about death and stuff. It's a really cute, nice show.”
Lera Abova: It is! But, like … How am I … How am I supposed to explain?
Brittany O’Grady: I actually wanna watch it now that you’ve described it.I’ve never watched it.
Lera Abova: It’s good. Very heartwarming. And it’s really funny, and it’s just well-written. And I love the voices and everything.
[‘Human Resources’ CLIP] Aidy Bryant (as Emmy the Lovebug): She’s like audio Xanax.
[‘Human Resources’ CLIP] Ali Wong (as Becca Lee): I know. I could listen to her voice forever.
Jeff Ward: Mine was ‘BoJack Horseman.’
[‘BoJack Horseman’ CLIP] Paul F. Tompkins (as Mr. Peanutbutter): Good choice.
Jeff Ward: It’s very brilliant and very hilarious. Maybe one of the greatest satires of Hollywood and the entertainment industry that I’ve ever seen.
[‘BoJack Horseman’ CLIP]: Cut! Perfect! But let’s get that last part again.
