Gal Gadot: Hello, my name is Gal Galdot and I play Rachel Stone in Heart of Stone. And you’re with us on “First Scene, Last Scene.” 

[TITLE CARD] FIRST SCENE/LAST SCENE

Gal Gadot: This is basically the first time we see Rachel comes to The Charter.

[CLIP]  Man: It’s good to see you.

[CLIP] Gal Gadot (as Rachel Stone): How’s it going? 

[CLIP] Man: Been busy. 

Gal Gadot: The Charter is the secret agency that kind of operates above all world secret agencies. 

[CLIP] Man: The Heart predicted the time and location of the attack with 80% certainty.

Gal Gadot: This was shot in the outskirts of London. It was a muggy day. The weather wasn’t great. But we were filming inside and I was wearing a coat, so I was happy. This piece of real estate, of gorgeous real estate. I really appreciated the … [chuckles] the location. Like whenever we had a break, I was just, like, I would go and explore different rooms. Uh, ’cause it was really huge and beautiful and old. This one took a few takes. The great thing about working with Tom Harper is that he’s one of those directors that really believe in rehearsing and feeling the area a little bit. So we came to set, we rehearsed a little bit, and then we went straight to it.

[CLIP] Man: Peacock.

[CLIP] Gal Gadot (as Rachel Stone): Hi. 

[CLIP] Man: Came with the house.

[squawks] 

Gal Gadot: And then they brought the Peacock.

[Clip] Woman: Stone, listen to me. Waiter to your right. Grab a glass of champagne.

[Clip] Gal Gadot (as Rachel Stone): Thank you.

[Clip] Woman: Good. 

Gal Gadot: When we shot this one, it was already whoo-hoo. Everyone spend a lot of time together. We already travelled many, many places. 

[CLIP] Man: Do you know how to play? 

[CLIP] Gal Gadot (as Rachel Stone): I was on the chess team.

Gal Gadot: When you play such a character for so many months, it’s really easy to get into the character quickly. You know, like, an extension of who you are. And this one was just like, you know, it was a fun one, it was with the team. Delightful filming this one.

[CLIP] 

[phone ringing]

[CLIP] Man 1: He’s headed towards you. Stone, walk away. Walk away. Walk away. 

[CLIP] Man 2: What are you doing? 

Gal Gadot: This scene takes place when the team is still under the impression that Rachel is just a hacker and that’s it. And that’s when she goes inside and she has to hack. Usually she never leaves the van and they’re all very worried about her. But she outsmarts everybody. 

[CLIP] Man 1: Uh, you win. 

[CLIP] Gal Gadot (as Rachel Stone): Maybe I should quit while I’m ahead.

Interviewer: Did you keep anything from the set? 

Gal Gadot: Yes, I did. I kept a Nine of Hearts card.
