[woman 1] Piper Rockelle is an incredibly popular child influencer.

[reporter] This young lady's amassed more than ten million followers on YouTube.

[woman 2] Piper's mother, Tiffany Smith, is the momager.

[man] She took these kids to massive viral fame. It seemed so innocent. But it wasn't innocent at all.

[dark music plays]

[woman 3] Tiffany finds people who want to be famous. She takes advantage of them. Things can get very muddy when kids are making an obscene amount of money.

[woman 1] At her peak, Piper was earning between $300,000 and $500,000 a month.

[woman 4] Young girls have very large numbers of adult men as followers.

[girl 1] Tiffany would direct us to pose certain ways. Hugging a certain way in a clip.

[boy 1] Closer, closer.

[woman 5] She would be like, over and over, "Sex sells. Make it sexy."

[woman 7] Smile. Flirt with the camera.

[woman 3] Where's the line for Tiffany? I was 17. We were on my live stream. Then the kiss happened. I woke up in the morning, and it was gone. If someone could erase this from the Internet, then what else could they get away with?

[boy 1] Everything was controlled by Tiffany.

We were filming 10 to 15 videos a day.
