In 2020, director Katherine Kubler learned that the Academy at Ivy Ridge was abandoned after its closure in 2009 — and all the students files had been left behind. While filming The Program: Cons, Cults, and Kidnapings, Kubler returned to The Academy at Ivy Ridge. The following photos were taken during filmmaking by Kubler’s friend Nick Rasmussen.
