Hello, you. Or should we say … goodbye, You? It’s almost time to bid farewell to the beloved series and its dangerously charming protagonist, Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), and we have just the way to do it — with a virtual fan screening right here on Tudum and exciting opportunities in New York and bookstores across the country.

Before sending Joe off with a killer finale on April 24, You Season 5 will head back to where it all started: Mooney’s bookstore, which is where we first met Joe all those years ago (can’t you hear the door chime?). On April 22, the previously fictional Mooney’s is opening its doors to You fans in New York, and on April 23, fans around the world will be able to attend an early virtual screening of the Season 5 premiere featuring Badgley himself on Tudum.

Read on for more information, including how you just might be able to sneak into Joe’s cage one final time for a special preview of the new and final season of You, grab some exclusive merch, and more.

How can I visit Mooney’s bookstore?

Fans in New York will be able to visit a pop-up version of Mooney’s bookstore at 489 Broome Street on April 22 and 23 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET. There, you’ll be able to take part in a unique literary scavenger hunt featuring exclusive merch, fun prizes, and even a few photo opportunities — all first come, first serve.

Joe himself is also returning to New York in Season 5. “We always said that we would stop after five [seasons] and, in a perfect world, we would bring Joe back home to New York,” You co-showrunner Michael Foley told Tudum. “We loved the idea of things coming full circle for him. We’re excited by the fact that Joe came home as such a different person than [who] we saw in Season 1. At the core of our final story for Joe is this dichotomy of the old and the new.”

What if I can’t make it to Mooney’s?

Don’t worry! From April 16-23, bookstores across the country will host their own in-store You scavenger hunts that will lead to free merchandise and access to Tudum’s virtual fan screening. The following locations are participating:

  • Black Pearl Books (Austin, Texas)
  • The Ripped Bodice (Los Angeles; Brooklyn, New York)
  • Books & Books (Miami, Coral Gables Store)
  • Booksmith (San Francisco)
