To celebrate the highly anticipated return of Squid Game, Netflix will host a Squid Game-ified 5K — so, a 4.56K — run on the evening of Dec. 12 in Los Angeles where you, the fans, will be put into the role of players who must compete for the ultimate prize — a coveted seat at an advance screening of the Season 2 premiere. After all … it’s Squid Game. We can’t just give tickets away. Everything must be earned. Rules must be followed. It’s your choice — turn back now, or continue reading to learn more.
Players will check in at the Squid Game 4.56K Run Headquarters (address to be disclosed at a later date) to receive their player number bib and tracksuit. At Headquarters, you can enjoy a variety of activities including photo ops, immersive gameplay, a mini “night market” with offerings from your local Koreatown favorites, live music, and more. All players can enjoy this celebration before the games begin.
Players will be briefed on the rules by our emcee and greeted by the cast and creator of Squid Game. That’s right — Lee Jung-jae (Player 456) and Lee Byung-hun (Front Man) will be there to wish you luck as you begin your journey in the game. You’ll need it.
Players will run a 4.56K on the streets of Los Angeles, which will start and end at Headquarters. It’s not a timed race, but it will test you in other ways. At various points, players will risk elimination as they compete in tasks of choice, physical challenge, and chance. While there will be multiple opportunities to get back in the game, not everyone will clinch their seat at the screening.
Players who finish the 4.56K run and successfully pass the challenges will be provided with a ticket to the screening, which will take place the same night. There will be a participation prize for eliminated players, but they will not move on to the screening. Yep, this may mean you need to leave your friend behind if they are among the eliminated players. Life is tough in the world of Squid Game.

Register for yourself and up to (1) guest beginning at 8:00 a.m. PT on 11/21/24. Registrant solely responsible for travel to/from Challenge location and all other expenses. Maximum of 2,000 participants accepted. Opportunity to participate in Challenge offered on a first come, first served basis and NOT guaranteed even with online registration. To participate in Challenge, you must sign a waiver and release of liability. Prize winners must attend screening on or around 10 p.m. PT on 12/12/24 (following Challenge). 4.56K run and elimination challenges
Time to earn your bragging rights. Run the course on the streets of LA with fellow Squid Game fans, and compete in elimination challenges where fate is left to choice, physical tests, and chance. Will you achieve glory, or will luck turn against you? Let nothing hold you back.
Headquarters will be open after the run for all participants for additional challenges as well as for food, water, and refresh areas.

No, event entry does not guarantee a ticket to the screening. You will face elimination challenges over the course of the event — only those who make it past all challenges will receive screening tickets.
Admission to this event is free and first come, first served. Select items will be complimentary, including tracksuits, water, and medals. Food and soft drinks are available for purchase.
Yes! This is a first come, first served event for fans who are legal residents of the 50 US/DC, 18+ who have signed up and registered for the event.

We will announce the exact location to ticket holders closer to the event day. Limited amount of complimentary parking to be provided, but rideshare is encouraged. Please note there will be street closures in the space due to the race route — plan accordingly.
Because tickets do not guarantee access to the event, we suggest arriving early to secure a place in line. Line queues will open at 4 p.m., with event doors opening at 6 p.m.
All entry information will be provided on your ticket. Once on-site, look for the General Attendee entrance sign or ask staff where to go.
While we can’t guarantee entry into the race once capacity is reached, we will have a stand-by line for registered ticket holders that is first come, first served.

This 4.56K run will be a fully outdoor event. If you successfully secure your spot in the advance screening, the screening will be held indoors at a nearby theater.
Yes!
Please dress in comfortable clothing appropriate for a 4.56K fun run/walk. Players will be provided with a complimentary player tracksuit (jacket and pants) at check-in. You should plan to wear this over your existing clothes and NOT do a full outfit change as there are no private changing rooms on-site. We recommend lightweight layers that will fit comfortably under the tracksuit.
Please only plan to bring what you can carry on you during the run. There will not be lockers available for personal items. Please dress/plan accordingly. Refillable water bottles are allowed, but please arrive with them empty as water stations will be provided.
There will be a few curtained-off stalls for quick changes, but no private changing facilities will be on-site. Please plan to dress accordingly, and know that you will be provided with a tracksuit to wear over your existing clothes.
All bags will be checked upon arrival. Purses, fanny packs, and bags up to a standard tote size are allowed. Backpacks are not allowed. Please plan to bring only what you can carry on you during the run. There will not be lockers available for personal items. Additional information below:
Clear Bags: Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags up to 12" x 6" x 12" are permitted.
Small Clutches: Non-clear bags, such as clutches or fanny packs, must not exceed 6" x 9".
Prohibited Bags: Backpacks, coolers, large totes, and camera bags are not allowed.

Yes! There will be food and drinks from some of your local Koreatown favorites, including Intercrew, Beverly Soon Tofu, Chimmelier, Jilli, Kogi, Boba Time, Kimbap Paradise, and Manmi Bakery. Guests will enjoy complimentary food and drinks while supplies last; some items available for purchase. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options will be available.
There will not be alcohol available at this event.
