Queer Eye fashionista and famous Brit Tan France is doing what the English do best: spilling tea.
The Selling Sunset reunion, hosted by France, packs in plenty of drama despite one notable absence. Fresh off Christine’s departure and the devastating workplace breakup between Chrishell and Jason, emotions run as high as the O Group’s heels and commissions during the sit-down interview. Although this is no broker’s open, France doesn’t hold back, asking the agents everything from what’s in their text messages to getting back with exes. Here are seven of the most jaw-dropping revelations from the Selling Sunset reunion that are more shocking than falling out of escrow.
Chrishell has shown her resilience throughout the series’ five seasons, having gone through two very public heartbreaks. The good news is that she’s finally found happiness again. “I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me,” Chrishell reveals after months of online speculation from fans. “Their name is G Flip; they’re non-binary so they go by they/them.” Not only is she seeing the Australian singer and songwriter, but she also stars as G Flip’s love interest in their new music video.

The most emotional we’ve ever seen Jason was when he read a heartfelt poem to his dogs at their birthday party in Season 4. However, after watching a clip where he and Mary discussed his breakup, Jason is immediately brought to tears. “I need to get through today so I can help myself move on,” he says while choking up. When France asks Brett if he championed the relationship, the twin brother also breaks down. As brokers, the Oppenheim twins try their best to steer clear of all the office drama, which makes seeing their vulnerability so rare. Jason and Brett might have their own rivalries, but the strength of their bond is undeniable.
If you’re coming into the reunion hoping to get some answers about Christine’s cliffhanger Season 5 ending, you’ll be disappointed to find the queen of drama MIA. For someone who loves making her presence known, she definitely succeeds in making her absence very apparent. Although the host and castmates don’t provide an explanation, Jason does confirm that Christine is no longer employed at the brokerage. “Right now, there’s not a place for her at the Oppenheim Group,” he says. Should someone check outside the studio doors for another massive (and furry) rose bouquet?
At various points during the reunion, nearly all of the women touch on their plans to expand their families. Maya shares more about her late-term stillbirth, saying while she is still grieving her loss, she hopes to become pregnant again soon. Mary and Romain say they are in the process of freezing her eggs, and Heather, who is doing IVF, shares that she and husband Tarek El Moussa have created four viable embryos. And, leading up to her big relationship reveal, Chrishell says that she’s open to adoption or other methods of starting a family. “Obviously, I am hoping to have a family,” she says, “but I’ve also taken some of the pressure off as far as what that looks like.”

…and Christine’s past. That’s right: Emma confirms her ex-boyfriend Peter Cornell (whom Christine also dated) “might have tested the newest flavor” of her famous vegan empanadas. Clearly, this relationship isn’t a flash in the (frying) pan — Chelsea even admits she met him recently, calling him “very attractive.” However, Emma clarifies that the two aren’t dating; rather, they’re just “double-dipping.” Could this be a new way to sample an empanada?
Clearly, Jason isn’t the only Oppenheim whose love life is on blast. When France asks the twins if they’ve ever been mistaken for each other, Mary and Chrishell encourage them to tell a certain story. At the women’s insistence, Jason reveals that a “well-known actor” once got mad at him for having sex in his closet, but it was actually Brett who had done the deed. Hey, he’s a man of real estate — he has to test out every feature of the home! Anyway, who could this mystery star have been? We’re just hoping it isn’t Ben Affleck... again.
If all that wasn’t enough, an already wild reunion was rounded out by the world premiere of the Selling the OC trailer, featuring your first glimpse at the gorgeous men and women taking over the real estate of Orange County. But, naturally, a new market breeds new conflict: In the trailer, new cast member Polly calls someone “the worst person in the world,” while an unseen agent labels another “husband fucker.” Clearly, real estate isn’t all this cast is getting into.
Sounds like the new cast is ready to make their names known, but as Chrishell feistily notes, the Selling Sunset agents are still “richer than them.” Is that a friendly O Group rivalry we’re sensing? We’ll leave it up to Jason and Brett to referee.
