What happens in To Catch a Killer?

On New Year’s Eve in Baltimore, a sniper fatally shoots more than two dozen people while they celebrate in high-rises across the city’s Inner Harbor. Officer Eleanor Falco (Woodley) responds to the scene, where she meets FBI Special Agent Lammark (Mendelsohn). Impressed by Falco’s instincts, Lammark convinces his team to bring her into the fold. As they investigate the mass shooting, Falco, Lammark, and terrorist task force agent Jack McKenzie (Adepo) discover the killer’s motivations — and realize he’s far from finished.
