The Witcher has a sprawling cast of characters vying for power, with competing factions, vicious magical creatures and fickle allies causing all manner of problems for the titular monster hunter Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill) and his family, Princess Cirilla of Cintra (Freya Allan) and Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Chalotra). The ensemble continues to grow in Season 3, which began filming this month. Let’s get to know the four new characters looking to make their mark on the Continent.

Gallatin (Robbie Amell) A born fighter, Gallatin leads an army of guerrilla Scoia’tael fighting on behalf of Nilfgaard. Unafraid to speak his truth, Gallatin’s loyalty to his people ultimately leads him on a collision course with Francesca over power.

Robbie Amell currently stars in the romantic sci-fi satire Upload. He also stars in the 2019 sci-fi thriller Code 8 alongside his cousin, Arrow star Stephen Amell. A sequel to Code 8 will be released on Netflix later this year.

Milva (Meng’er Zhang) - ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Cast Conjures Robbie Amell and Meng’er Zhang

Milva (Meng’er Zhang) A human adopted by the dryads of Brokilon Forest, Milva is a fierce and talented huntress. Exact archery skills coupled with a stone-cold aptitude for survival make her a formidable adversary on the unforgiving Continent – those that cross her do so at their peril.

Chinese actor Meng’er Zhang made her first on-screen appearance as Shang-Chi’s fearsome sister Xu Xialing in Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings. She is an experienced stage actor who has starred in productions of Oliver Twist and The Merchant of Venice.

Prince Radovid (Hugh Skinner) Royal playboy and younger brother to King Vizimir, Radovid finds himself suddenly a man on the inside of the Redanian Intelligence. With his good looks and often drunken charm, Radovid surprises with how incisive he can be in matters of politics, but it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.

English actor Hugh Skinner is no stranger to playing royalty, having taken on the role of Prince William in the comedic soap opera The Windsors. He also starred in Matthew Weiner’s The Romanoffs, a contemporary anthology series about people who believe themselves to be descendants of the Russian royal family.

Mistle (Christelle Elwin) Mistle is a member of The Rats, a gang of misfit teenagers who steal from the rich and give to themselves — and sometimes the poor. She is street hard, suspicious of everyone and out for revenge, until a chance meeting that changes everything.

Christelle Elwin will also appear in Netflix’s adaptation of Sally Green’s YA fantasy trilogy Half Bad.

We can’t wait to see what destiny has in store for these new characters and the returning cast.
