All eyes were on Naomi Watts, Bobby Cannavale and the rest of The Watcher cast as they hit the red carpet at the Paris Theater in New York City Wednesday night to celebrate the series’ launch on Netflix.
Created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, The Watcher is based on the 2018 New York article “The Haunting of a Dream House” by Reeves Wiedeman.
Watts and Cannavale play Nora and Dean Brannock. After the Brannock family moves into what’s supposed to be their suburban dream home, it quickly becomes a living hell. Ominous letters from someone signing off as “The Watcher” are just the beginning as their new neighborhood’s sinister secrets come spilling out.

The cast also includes Jennifer Coolidge, Mia Farrow, Margo Martindale, Terry Kinney, Joe Mantello, Richard Kind, Noma Dumezweni, Christopher McDonald, Michael Nouri, Isabel Gravitt, Henry Hunter Hall and Luke David Blumm.
Watts dazzled in a silver sequined Lanvin dress on the red carpet, while Cannavale looked dapper in a navy blue suit and burgundy shirt — both departures from the cream and beige knits they wear throughout the seven-part series.
Meanwhile, Farrow – who is making her return to television after a decade away – looked elegant in crisp white.
