Stephanie Soo Digs Up Killers’ Darkest Secrets in The Rotten Files

The host of Rotten Mango’s new podcast will take on today’s most explosive true crime cases.

    April 16, 2026

One of the true crime genre’s most beloved voices is coming to Netflix. In The Rotten Files, Stephanie Soo, known for her popular podcast Rotten Mango, will dive deep into today’s most explosive cases to uncover killers and predators who thought their stories would stay buried.

Soo launched Rotten Mango in 2020, quickly attracting a dedicated audience eager to explore the darker side of human nature with her signature blend of humor and empathy. She also hosts the comedy podcast Moral of the Story, where she tells her husband about the most unhinged real-life scandals and internet dramas from around the world.

“Netflix is putting meaningful creative power in the hands of content creators, which is a really rare opportunity,” Soo says. “We’re ready to hit the ground running.”
