


Coming hot, fresh — and let’s be honest — slightly lopsided out of the oven, The Big Nailed It Baking Challenge is here to give even the worst home bakers a dollop of hope.
The next installment in the ever-expanding Nailed It! universe arrives later this summer, as 10 enthusiastic but oven-challenged chefs get the opportunity of a lifetime to hone their skills. Over 10 episodes, contestants will compete for a huge cash prize to make their pie-in-the-sky dreams come true. Bakers in Nailed It! only have one chance at re-creating edible masterpieces, but in The Big Nailed It Baking Challenge the group will get a crash course in the the art of chocolate, cookies, cupcakes, antigravity bakes, and beyond all season long. Of course, if they want to stick around, they’ll first have to impress returning host Nicole Byer and head judge Jacques Torres. And, yes, before you ask, producer Wes is back in the kitchen as well.




So how do these bakers flop to the top? Well, they’ll have every tool and resource at their disposal, including access to world-renowned pastry chefs, who’ll whisk them into shape in no time. A baker, food stylist, and bestselling author, Erin knows all the ingredients that go into the perfect pastry. Growing up baking in her grandma’s kitchen, Erin fell in love with pies, cakes, and all other bakes at a young age — and she’s been perfecting her techniques ever since.
After landing her first job in a bakery as a teenager, Erin eventually developed the confidence to apply to the Culinary Institute of America, where she studied (or devoured, rather) every morsel of knowledge. Now, she’s inspired to pass along what she’s learned to others by developing foolproof recipes, making instructional videos, and writing cookbooks.
Erin is currently the host of the award-winning YouTube series Bake It Up a Notch on Food52. She’s also author of three cookbooks, The Fearless Baker (2017), The Book on Pie (2020), and Savory Baking (2022).

Robert makes the kind of cakes you’ll stop scrolling to drool over on TikTok, where he’s amassed a massive following for his one-of-a-kind creations. The self-taught professional cake artist, who’s also known as The Sweet Impact, only made his first cake in 2019 after a career as an IT professional.
Since then he’s been on the rise in the baking world in a major way. With 6 million followers across all platforms, fans can’t get enough of his fantastical cakes, including pop-culture-inspired bakes and monochromatic confections.
He’s also been recognized as one of TikTok’s Black Trailblazers and collaborated with major brands like Oreo, Walmart, PlayStation, and more.
