3 Korean Shows Like Officer Black Belt to Stream Now - Netflix Tudum
In Officer Black Belt, a ninth-degree martial artist stumbles upon a career in law enforcement after he saves an officer from a fight with a criminal on parole. The action-comedy film stars Kim Woo-bin as a third-degree black belt in judo, tae kwon do, and kendo, who teams up with a probation officer (Kim Sung-kyun) to keep an eye on parolees. What ensues is some fancy footwork and a hefty serving of justice. For more shows about whooping butt for all the right reasons (mostly), read on.
Vincenzo
In Vincenzo, Song Joong-ki (Descendants of the Sun) stars as a Korean-Italian mafia lawyer who returns to Seoul to dig up a massive payday. While there, he helps take down an evil business conglomerate. The series from Kim Hee-won (Crash Landing on You) and Park Jae-beom (Good Doctor) also stars Jeon Yeo-been (After My Death) and Ok Taec-yeon (Heartbeat), aka Taecyeon.
Psychokinesis
A father and fried chicken restaurant manager uses his newly minted supernatural powers to save his estranged daughter in this superhero action comedy from Train to Busan writer-director Yeon Sang-ho. The film Psychokinesis stars Ryu Seung-ryong (Chicken Nugget), Shim Eun-kyung (Miss Granny), and Park Jeong-min (The 8 Show).
Kill Boksoon
The Korean thriller Kill Boksoon, from director Byun Sung-hyun (Kingmaker), follows a contract killer, Boksoon, played by 2007 Cannes Best Actress winner Jeon Do-yeon (Emergency Declaration). When Boksoon’s life as a single mother clashes with her career, she breaks the rules and puts a target on her back. The film also stars Baeksang Art Award winner Sul Kyung-gu (Kingmaker).
