3 High-Stakes Comedies Like Non Negotiable to Stream Now - Netflix Tudum
In Non Negotiable, Mauricio Ochmann plays Alan Bender, a hostage negotiator who has to talk down Lamb, a mysterious criminal who kidnaps the president … and Bender’s wife … and her side piece. Bender has a lot to prove. It’s a high-profile case involving corrupt Mexican government workers — and his wife is about to throw in the towel on their marriage. Finished the film and looking for more zesty stories involving quirky comedic leads pursuing a bit o’ crime and corruption? Here are some thrilling comedies to check out after Non Negotiable.
Bandidos
In the action-adventure series Bandidos from Adrian Grünberg and Javier Ruiz Caldera, a ragtag crew of bounty hunters search for the biggest treasure in human history. Though they have the key to secure the bag — a treasure map that takes them to ancient ruins and tropical locales — they’ve got some dangerous competition. Along the way, the group must traverse across the Mexican Caribbean with their heads on a swivel.
The Perfect Dictatorship
In the film The Perfect Dictatorship, starring Damián Alcázar (Acapulco), Alfonso Herrera (Ozark), and Joaquín Cosío (Savages), a TV conglomerate must rework the image of a notoriously corrupt politician who accepts a massive bribe. The political satire from director Luis Estrada (Hell) is based on the real-life story of Televisa, a network accused of planting stories to bolster candidate Enrique Peña Nieto’s 2012 presidential campaign.
