Jennifer Garner (Alias, 13 Going on 30, Juno) is set to star in One Attempt Remaining, an upcoming comedy directed by Kay Cannon (Blockers, Cinderella). John Cena (WWE Raw, Peacemaker) co-stars in the film alongside Garner, with Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live) and Aimee Carrero (Your Friends & Neighbors). Yara Shahidi (Grown-ish), Nyambi Nyambi (The Good Fight, Mike & Molly), and more have also joined the cast.

Years after their acrimonious divorce, an ex-couple learns that the cryptocurrency they won on a crazy night on a cruise is now worth millions, but they've forgotten the password needed to access the funds. With only three days left until the account expires, they must retrace their steps that night, not just to figure out the password to their fortune, but also to rediscover why they fell in love in the first place.
The One Attempt Remaining cast includes Garner, Cena, McKinnon, Carrero, Shahidi, Nyambi, Larry Wilmore (Jerry & Marge Go Large), Gilles Marini (1923), Abdul Seidu (Poser), Alan Barinholtz (Jury Duty, Running Point), and Carol Mansell (Night Court, UnPrisoned).
In addition to starring in the film, Garner will produce the feature, alongside 21 Laps’ Shawn Levy and Dan Levine and Nicole King for Linden Productions. One Attempt Remaining was written by Joe Boothe, Alexa Alemanni, and Cannon. The project is executive produced by Cannon, 21 Laps’ Becca Edelman, Bergen Swanson, and Deanna Barillari.
