It’s the biggest comedy event in history... well, probably. We can’t say for sure whether Julius Caesar packed the Colosseum with Ancient Rome’s top satirists or if Queen Nefertiti hosted a similar comedy blowout in the shadow of the Sphinx. But as far as recent times are concerned, the Netflix Is a Joke Festival (April 28 to May 8) is bringing out the biggest names in comedy, playing in venues across Los Angeles. Here, we’ve got the inside look, getting up-close and personal with today’s top stand-up stars. You’ll want to check in throughout the festival for the latest updates, news announcements and photos from more than 250 live events.
