Björn Diemel (Schilling) is a hardworking defense attorney, spending his days and nights protecting Germany’s biggest scumbags. He’s paid handsomely and lives comfortably — when he’s not working, which is hardly ever. Björn’s just missed his daughter’s fourth birthday celebration, and his wife, Katharina (Cox), is upset. She recommends he sign up for a mindfulness course so he can figure out how to better prioritize time with his only daughter. And the classes go well … for a time. Soon enough, Björn’s toxic client — a mob boss named Dragan (Geršak) — ropes him into yet another dirty job. Dragan has unintentionally started a turf war with a competing cartel, by killing one of their drug mules. Björn, however, has had it with cleaning up Dragan’s messes. When he unintentionally commits murder, making him a huge target for the crime underworld, he uses his new meditative skills to go on a killing spree to keep his work-life balance intact.
