Stand-up comedian Mojo Brookzz has been in the game for 12 years, and he’s only just getting started. You may have seen the Chicago native — born Dyon Brooks — in Wild ’N Out, Tyler Perry’s Miss Governor, his sold-out set at Netflix is a Joke Fest, or his sold-out 40-city tour. To say he’s on the rise might be an understatement. Now his comedy special is here, and it’s raucous as hell. In I Know You Lying, the comedian discusses going to a party full of celebs and calling out an unc for not knowing a modern-day NSFW activity. He talks about the best way to treat a loved one with dementia and takes a strong stance on which person in a relationship should be the one getting checked for any issues, well, down there — and much, much more. Does he think flat butts are cooler than BBLs now? Did he actually take his niece to a sex shop? Did Bobby Brown offer him something illicit? Well, we all know he isn’t lying — so tune in to find out the truth.
Directed by Mike Lavin and filmed live at Atlanta’s Center Stage Theater, Mojo Brookzz: I Know You Lying is streaming on Netflix now. To paraphrase Brookzz, listen and don’t judge.
