Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson are having a bit of an identity crisis in The Man from Toronto, a new action comedy directed by Patrick Hughes. After being mistaken for one another, circumstances force “a bumbling entrepreneur to team up with a notorious assassin known as the man from Toronto in hopes of staying alive.” Chaos ensues, as you can see from the first-look photos below.

Yes, that is Kaley Cuoco you spotted having a very intense chat with Jasmine Matthews. The Man from Toronto also stars a very puzzled-looking Ellen Barkin and all 6 feet, 6 inches of Rob Archer.

Hughes, who previously directed The Hitman’s Bodyguard and Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, starring Samuel L. Jackson, Ryan Reynolds and Salma Hayek, is an expert on casting unlikely pairings. Chemistry was front of mind as he set out to cast The Man from Toronto.
“The foundation of buddy comedies is contrast,” he tells Tudum. “It’s a bromance of chalk and cheese. If the chemistry were to zing, I needed two opposing personality types. While Kevin Hart is a supercharged energizer bunny, Woody Harrelson, by contrast, is a mellow desert flower.”
The Man from Toronto premieres on Netflix June 24.
