JVN Has Major Questions in the ‘Getting Curious’ Trailer

Are we dependent on snacks? Are bugs gorgeous or gross?

Jonathan Van Ness has burning questions, and he’s determined to get some answers.

The trailer for Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness dropped today, and the show, based on JVN’s podcast of the same name, will explore any and all topics that make him curious — everything from bugs to skyscrapers to gender identity. Through interviews with experts and activities like eating crickets, ice skating and rocking wigs, Van Ness uncovers the complex histories of seemingly everyday topics.

“I am going to be embarking on a new journey of learning more — of opening my mind, learning new perspectives — and I’ve got a lot to learn,” Van Ness says in the trailer.

The series also features some celebrity cameos — Rachel Dratch, Michelle Kwan and Christian Siriano, just to name a few. Plus, is that Queer Eye co-star Antoni Porowski in an I Love Lucy outfit? We might have to add it to the list

Van Ness of course also stars as the resident hair-care expert on Queer Eye, which premiered its sixth season on Dec. 31, 2021. Getting Curious drops on Jan. 28, 2022, but in the meantime, watch the trailer below to answer all your burning questions.
