When a rogue police captain teams up with a new recruit who’s hoping for a fresh start, the two embark on a dangerous mission to track down one of the world’s most notorious — and violent — drug dealers. The French crime drama Blood Coast (Pax Massilia) follows the officers and their daredevil team as they fight to clean up the streets of Marseille, France.
The series was directed by César Awards winner — and former police officer — Olivier Marchal (36th Precinct, Les Lyonnais, Rogue City) and co-written by Marchal and Kamel Guemra (Lost Bullet). Blood Coast reunites Marchal with actors Nicolas Duvauchelle (Braquo), Moussa Maaskri (Rogue City), and Olivier Barthélémy (Overdose).

Tewfik Jallab as Captain Lyes Benamar and Jeanne Goursaud as Alice Vidal in the series Blood Coast
In Marseille, France, DEA captain Lyès Benamar and his team are desperate to close in on an elusive drug ring — so desperate that Benamar’s unorthodox methods have earned him an investigation by the internal affairs department. He’s left bystanders with gunshot wounds, endangered the public, and bloodied a drug dealer in his custody. So he’s on thin ice when a new officer with a flawless record arrives on the scene straight from Interpol. Captain Alice Vidal is assigned to Benamar’s case and becomes his partner. While their approaches may differ, they share the same objective: Track down the vicious drug lord Franck Murillo — by any means necessary.
