All eyes and cameras are on this one — the first-look images of Anatomy of a Scandal have just dropped and we can’t look away...

Adapted from the international bestselling novel of the same name by Sarah Vaughan, the new six-part psychological thriller is soon to be the talk of the town. Set in London, the series exposes the personal and political scandals of Britain’s elite. Privilege and power? It’s bound to get intense. James Whitehouse (Rupert Friend) is a minister in parliament and has a loving family at home with his wife, Sophie (Sienna Miller). There’s no sign of stopping his trajectory — that is, until a scandalous secret comes to light. Barrister Kate Woodcroft (Michelle Dockery) has an agenda of her own, and her prosecution threatens to tear into Westminster, the Whitehouses’ marriage and her own personal esteem.

Co-created by David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies) and Melissa James Gibson (House of Cards), the courtroom drama will be the first installment of an anthology. Also starring in the series are Naomi Scott, Josette Simon, Geoffrey Streatfeild and Joshua McGuire. “Based on Sarah's addictive book, the show tackles entitlement, truth and the boundaries of consent,” Kelley and Gibson tell Netflix. Want a front-row seat in the courtroom? Anatomy of a Scandal premieres April 15.
