After solving a murder at a high-brow party, genius teenage detective Shinichi Kudo accompanies his childhood friend Ran Mori to an amusement park.

Beaten and poisoned, Shinichi awakens to find himself in the body of a small boy. Professor Agasa helps him forge an undercover identity to stay safe.

After witnessing some crooks steal a billion yen from an armored security car, Conan goes in pursuit but loses them. Later, two suspects are murdered.

A girl named Ai Haibara transfers into Conan's class and helps the Detective Boys solve a case. Later, she reveals a shocking truth to Conan.

When Ai spots Gin’s car, Conan puts a listening device in it and uncovers an assassination plot. He sneaks into a hotel banquet to prevent the murder.

After witnessing the dramatic murder, Conan realizes that Pisco must still be at the crime scene. Ai is suddenly kidnapped amidst the ensuing chaos.

Gin and Vodka enter the cellar but leave without finding Pisco. Temporarily an adult, Ai tries escaping via the chimney as Conan races to reach her.

After Araide and Jodie get on the same bus as Professor Agasa and the Detective Boys, Ai suddenly has a frightening premonition that danger is near.

Conan must identify the accomplice hiding on the bus. Meanwhile, the hijackers intend to escape before blowing up the bus with the passengers inside.

Ran passes out from her fever and relives her memories of going to see a Broadway musical with Shinichi and his mother, Yukiko, in New York.
