The Great Doctor

In the year 1351, Gen. Choi Young must find a doctor to cure a wounded princess. As he enters Cheon-hyeol, he finds himself in Seoul in the year 2012.

Eun Soo urges Choi Young to call an ambulance. Yet Choi Young will only let her go if she can save No Guk, forcing Eun Soo to perform the surgery.

Choi Young awakens from surgery and, knowing that they will all die if they don't run away now, gets ready to leave. But Eun Soo refuses to go.

Despite Gong Min's pleas for her to stay, Eun Soo still plans to return to her time -- yet there's no way of knowing when the door will open again.

King Gong Min and Ki Chul are at odds, placing Eun Soo in the middle. But both are taken aback when Eun Soo unexpectedly strikes back.

As Eun Soo and Choi Young start their long journey together, Gong Min gets anxious. Ki Chul takes advantage of the situation to plant a seed of doubt.

Choi Young is chased down by both Ki Chul and Kwan Gun, as Ki Chul manages to take away the trust Gong Min has in Choi Young little by little.

Choi Young is imprisoned under suspicion of treason. Eun Soo fails to make a deal with Ki Chul to save him, so she hatches an escape plan.

Choi Young and Gong Min take the first steps to install a new political framework. Ki Chul has Eun Soo imprisoned so he can gain her knowledge.

Eun Soo despairs because she can't steal Ki Chul's notebook. While operating on an emergency patient, Eun Soo is shocked to learn the patient's name.
