Oblivion Battery

Having given up on baseball in junior high, Taro Yamada begins attending a high school with no baseball team and has an unexpected reunion.

Kiyomine entices Kaname to come play baseball with him and Yamada. As the group practices batting, two other former baseball hopefuls watch in awe.

Hoping to get closer to Todo and Chihaya, Kaname invites them over to his house. Kiyomine convinces the three of them to join the baseball team.

Todo hits a home run on his first swing, giving Kotesashi High some early momentum. Later, Kiyomine takes the mound against Teitoku's ace hitter.

After the game, Teitoku's coach asks Kiyomine, Kaname, Todo and Chihaya to consider transferring to Teitoku and joining its baseball team.

While the guys hold a study session at Todo's house to help Kaname learn about baseball, Todo reveals that he struggles with the yips.

Strangely inspired by Kaname's words, Todo practices throwing with the others. But when he still has trouble, Kiyomine bluntly criticizes him.

Overwhelmed by his teammates' demands during practice, Kaname flees to the school roof, where he finds another student playing a baseball video game.

When Tsuchiya asks what would happen if Kaname regained his memory, the team decides to try curing his amnesia. Tsuchiya suggests hypnosis.

The practice game against Hikawa High begins, but Kaname's teammates worry when he starts fluctuating between his commander and fool personas.
