Daemons of the Shadow Realm

Yuru, a young hunter in the mountains, lives a humble life with his twin sister Asa and their village — until a "dragon's roar" shatters their peace.

Guided by Dera, a bewildered Yuru awakens the Divine Guardians Right and Left and forges a contract. He then turns his bow on the attackers.

Knowing the attackers are after him, an unnerved Yuru escapes the village with Dera and meets up with Hana, a fellow daemon retainer.

Yuru shares his goal with Right and Left: find Asa and have her lead them to their parents. Following the scent of her blood, they begin the hunt.

Jin responds to Yuru's demand by inviting him from the warehouse to the Kagemori manor. Realizing he is surrounded by powerful daemons, Yuru accepts.

Ominous shadows close in on Yuru and Asa. A sudden explosion and unknown daemons force Yuru and the Kagemori family to unite and fight back.

When Yuru asks about Asa's bandaged right eye, she decides not to lie. She opens up about her past — and reveals she was once killed by assassins.

Asa reveals the harrowing truth behind her power, and Yuru learns he'll gain his own upon death. Targeted for it, he makes a bold declaration.

Asa shares a secret that deepens her bond with Yuru. Dera lifts his spirits with a sightseeing trip as the manor's intruders face interrogation.

Tailed by a stranger, Yuru and Dera take shelter but encounter the Tenaga-Ashinaga — sealed away centuries ago, now freed by an unknown hand.
