Cain meets the first king of Esfort, Yuuya, who tasks him with defeating an evil god and suddenly takes him to a dangerous forest to train.

Cain accepts a quest to catch some bandits so he can advance to A-rank. Later, his adventurer friends try to help him fit in at school.
