Though I Am an Inept Villainess

Reirin, a Kou clan maiden favored by the crown prince, wakes to find herself in the body of the envious Keigetsu after the Double Sevens Festival.

By Consort Shu's order, Reirin — trapped in Keigetsu's body — is banished to a hut. Fed up, her attendant Leelee storms off, refusing to serve her.

Reirin enjoys the freedom of Keigetsu's healthy body. Incited by Kin clan upper court lady Gayou, Leelee attempts to antagonize Keigetsu.

Feverish in Reirin's body, Keigetsu pleads with Reirin for help and asks to reverse their body swap. A casual remark later stirs Leelee's unease.

Reirin takes Leelee to the Zhongyuan Festival to confront Gayou. Snubbed with no seat, Reirin stands her ground in a stunning handmade outfit.

Still in Keigetsu's body, Reirin discovers Gayou may not exist — and that Keigetsu's life is at risk. She must draw a sacred bow all night to save her.

Tousetsu realizes that Reirin and Keigetsu have swapped bodies. Meanwhile, Keigetsu (in Reirin's body) discovers a gift meant for her has been cursed.

Keigetsu discovers Reirin's illness is a curse — and has an idea of who cast it. Reirin deduces someone is framing the Kin family.

Reirin uncovers Gabi's true purpose and asks Gyoumei for the sacred bow — but is refused. Undeterred, she sets off to ask Keigetsu to undo the swap.

Having realized that the girls have swapped bodies, Gyoumei chases after Reirin. When Tousetsu stands in his way, he removes his crown to prove his resolve.
