Kei begins to embrace his abilities as an Ajin after being driven off the road by a motorcyclist. Izumi visits Kei's sister to learn about his past.

Izumi fights back against the figure in Eriko's hospital room. After parting ways with Kaito, Kei receives a mysterious invitation.

As Kei suffers through horrific experiments at a government lab, Tanaka urges him to unleash his dark side. Meanwhile, Sato plots a rescue mission.

When Sato begins slaughtering workers at the lab, Kei jumps in to stop him and learns that Ajin have one key vulnerability.

With his job on the line, Tosaki resorts to extreme measures to learn more about Ajin. Sato seizes the public spotlight to set a new plan in motion.

When Sato reveals his gruesome plans, a young Ajin named Ko balks and flees. Kei finds refuge in the countryside and practices summoning his "ghost."

As Sato prepares to launch his attacks, Ko stumbles on Kei's hiding place and begs for help. Tosaki gets a surprise visitor.

Tosaki uncovers new details about the "black ghosts." Meanwhile, Mrs. Yamanaka's neighbors grow suspicious of Kei, and Sato finalizes his plan.
