Carding tracks down Monique in an attempt to retrieve the keepsake. Meanwhile, mob boss Frank sets his sights on taking over her neighborhood.

A deadly encounter on the road forces Monique to abandon her home and disguise herself as a man. Later, she runs into Carding and his family.

Monique settles into her new life as her male alter ego, Dino, while hiding her real identity from Carding, who reluctantly takes her in.

Frank makes a move on Bagli to draw Carding into a fight. After a clandestine meeting, Dino has a close call with Gilbert's accomplice.

An emergency at his home pushes Carding to throw Dino out, while Bagli becomes suspicious of the relationship between the two.

Dino confronts Carding when one of the children has a brush with the law. Gilbert and his father scheme against Belinda as she searches for her daughter.
