Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation

A man hit by a truck fades into unconsciousness. When he awakes, he discovers that he has been reborn as a child in a world of sword and sorcery.

Painful memories of his past life hinder 3-year-old Rudues's magic training. Roxy shares tales of the country of Ranoa and its academy.

Venturing outside to play, Rudeus makes a friend when he saves a green-haired child from some bullies. But when he returns home, his father is angry.

A shocking announcement overshadows Zenith's news of a new addition to the Greyrat family, forcing Rudeus to smooth over the resulting discord.

Rudeus arrives in the city of Roa and meets the obstinate young girl he will tutor. He devises a plan to change her attitude, but it soon goes awry.

Rudeus begins tutoring Eris. Though she is eager to learn magic, she struggles to focus on other subjects due to the stress of nonstop lessons.

As Rudeus studies foreign languages in his free time, Eris takes dance lessons ahead of her 10th birthday party but she can't seem to learn the steps.

The Greyrat family holds a surprise party for Rudeus' birthday, and Eris gives him an extravagant gift. That night, Philip makes an unexpected offer.

After conversing with a divine being in a dream, Rudeus awakes to find himself in a strange new land with an intimidating man wielding a spear.

Ruijerd, Rudeus and Eris arrive in the major city Rikarisu, where they run into trouble while looking to earn enough money to finance their quest.
