Frankenstein's Love

While searching for mushrooms in the woods, mycology student Tsugaru encounters a monster who has secluded himself from human society.

After inadvertently infecting Haruka with spores, Fukashi runs away into the woods. Tsugaru searches for him in hopes of bringing him back.

Tsugaru learns about her ancestor's strange death 120 years earlier. With Inaniwa's help, Fukashi sends in a question to his favorite radio show.

Amakusa interviews Tsurumaru live on the radio. Inspired by the segment, Fukashi tells Tsugaru how he feels about her, but she rejects him.

Fukashi is thrilled to learn that Amakusa wants to meet him. When Iizuka asks to borrow some money, Fukashi hands over his entire paycheck.

During his radio debut, Fukashi opens up about his feelings — but Tsurumaru worries that an increase in social interaction may lead to trouble.

Fukashi fears that his emotions will only endanger the people around him. Amakusa is ordered to get Fukashi to appear at a public radio event.

The radio station receives complaints after people fall ill from Fukashi's spores. Amakusa asks Fukashi to come on the radio and tell the truth.

On the air, Fukashi describes how he worked as a physician at a research institute for infectious diseases and recounts the fateful day he met Saki.

Tsugaru and Fukashi affirm their feelings for each other. Later, some public health center workers and police officers come to the Inaniwa workshop.
