Lisa is called in to investigate when hackers infiltrate a German bank. The police track the cyberattack to her home city in Romania.

Lisa returns to her home city of Timisoara and begins investigating a potential suspect in the cyberattack: a 14-year-old boy named Cipi.

Lisa wants to remain in Timisoara to help Cipi, but her counterpart Adam is under pressure from his boss to resolve the matter, and wants her to leave.

On the run from criminals and the authorities, Lisa, Adam and Cipi spend the night in an abandoned hospital, and it brings up painful memories for Cipi.

After narrowly escaping the dangerous Borisov, the unlikely trio finds sanctuary in a deserted village as the net tightens around them.

In desperation, Lisa reaches out to Cipi's hacker friends to help protect him, while Borisov leaves Adam in a worrying situation.
