Lacking other talents, Noor has spent years refining his ability to parry attacks — a skill that is tested when he encounters a young girl in danger.

The young lady insists that Noor come meet her father and be rewarded. Despite not fully grasping the situation, Noor reluctantly accompanies her.

After accepting Gilbert’s challenge to a mock duel, Noor skillfully dodges and parries a barrage of attacks. Later, Lynne asks to be Noor's page.

Noor teams up with Lynne for his first quest outside the castle. They set out to hunt goblins in the woods but encounter an unexpectedly imposing foe.

At Rein's request, Noor and Lynne embark on a journey into the mountains. Along the way, they encounter a vicious dragon and a mysterious boy.

After the boy loses control of the dragon, Noor steps in to battle the poisonous monster and recalls how he built up a resistance to toxins.

A menacing, blindfolded figure attacks Noor and his companions before giving an ominous warning of an even greater danger approaching the capital.

As King Clays bravely prepares for a daunting battle against a massive dragon threatening the royal capital, Noor decides to lend a hand.

When King Deridas invades Clays, Noor resolves to face the enemy alone and create an opportunity for Lynne and the others to escape from the chaos.

Backup arrives just as Noor reaches his limit. With disaster averted in Clays, Noor and his companions pursue the retreating Deridas on the dragon.
