The Secret Romantic Guesthouse

Four makes a crowd at the guesthouse inn Ihwawon when Kang San and Si-yeol move in. Dan-o might lose her business due to her late father’s debt.

The scholars console Dan-o as she grapples with her father’s debt. In the process, she learns that Magistrate Jang is looking for a treasonous rebel.

Dan-o sets off towards Gwacheon County to find a clue about an exiled royalty. Bewildered by her actions, Kang San, Yu-ha and Si-yeol follow suit.

The scholars worry that Dan-o has gotten herself into dangerous territory. As they fear for her, she gets closer to the exiled royalty, Lee Seol.

When Kang San collapses from a poisoned arrow, Dan-o gets suspicious of his identity. Meanwhile, Magistrate Jang has a new proposal for Dan-o.

To protect the residents of the guesthouse Ihwawon, Dan-o makes a weighty decision. Magistrate Jang speculates that Dan-o has found out something.

Thanks to a masked swordsman, Dan-o and the residents of Ihwawon evacuate safely. She sees through the guise and worries about the missing Kang San.

Dan-o feels emotionally indebted to Yu-ha. Yu-ha sets off to meet Hong-ju, and Kang San gets himself into a fight before an important martial exam.

Dan-o suggests Kang San leave, even searching for a ship headed for Qing on his behalf. Magistrate Jang briefs Lee Chang about Dan-o’s past encounter.

A wary Kang San is unable to guess why Lee Chang summoned Dan-o to the palace. Unbeknownst to him, another seed of doubt is sprouting elsewhere.
