Childish Eun-mi is Jin-hui’s mother, but their roles might as well be reversed. After a harrowing day at work, Jin-hui comes home to a shocking scene.

Jin-hui starts work at Namchon Police Station. During her patrol, she catches a thief at her home. The item he stole enrages both mother and daughter.

Eun-mi suspects domestic abuse after tending to a patient. She is furious when Jin-hui's investigation yields proof that the grandson was also abused.

Jin-hui tries to accustom herself to her hostile workplace, but nothing goes as planned. To make matters worse, a suspicious man lurks around town.

Someone is tailing Eun-mi. Jin-hui gets worried, especially in light of the recent murder case. Meanwhile, Eun-mi gets her stalker as a patient.

After meeting her birth father for the first time, an angry Jin-hui demands her parents stay apart. But Eun-mi continues fraternizing with Jin-hong.

Jin-hui arranges a mother-daughter trip as a gesture of goodwill, but Jin-hong butts in and ruins her plans. He ends up stuck between the icy duo.

Eun-mi is brutally attacked on a dark street at night. Jin-hui rushes to the station, angry at herself and her father for failing to protect Eun-mi.

Eun-mi meets Jin-hong’s sister, and the two share a prickly moment. Jin-hui suspects the real perp is out there and asks her father to protect Eun-mi.

The perp may be targeting Eun-mi. Jin-hui and Jae-won throw themselves into the investigation despite the pushback, keeping it a secret from Eun-mi.
