Saet-byeol applies for a job at a convenience store managed by the tall, handsome Dae-hyeon. As fate would have it, their paths have crossed before.

Dae-hyeon almost fires Saet-byeol for drinking on-site with her friends. Meanwhile, the store faces suspension for selling cigarettes to a minor.

Despite the scoldings, Saet-byeol works hard to become a full-time employee. Yeon-ju deters Dae-hyeon from visiting her father on his birthday.

Dae-hyeon mistakes Saet-byeol’s good intentions, more so after seeing a video of her assaulting a customer. Tensions rise at a job training session.

Saet-byeol is touted as a model employee after turning full-time. A celebratory piggyback causes a misunderstanding between Yeon-ju and Dae-hyeon.

Saet-byeol ends up at a hospital after being attacked by some delinquents. Dae-hyeon decides to let her go to keep peace with his girlfriend Yeon-ju.

Saet-byeol refuses the pay raise and leaves, but soon finds herself in a pickle. A restless Dae-hyeon still feels her presence keenly at the store.

Dae-hyeon finds his new roommate vexing but joins forces with her to nail the rental fraudster. In the meantime, Yeon-ju’s mind wanders to Seung-jun.

Dae-hyeon’s explanation fails to convince Yeon-ju. The convenience store is at risk again, and Hye-ja devises a plan to separate the troubled couple.

Yeon-ju breaks up with Dae-hyeon and moves up the corporate ladder. A shocked Dae-hyeon goes on a lonesome trip, and Saet-byeol attempts to find him.
