GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka

Teaching is ex-motorcycle gang member Onizuka’s dream, but he gets rejected. Then a school director hires him - to teach a class of problem children.

Kikuchi spreads doctored photos of Onizuka to get him in trouble. When questioned, though, he starts skipping school. Can his teachers bring him back?

Miyabi and company’s bullying drives Noboru to suicide, but Onizuka saves him in the nick of time. Enraged, Onizuka retaliates, and the war is on.

Onizuka is about to be fired unless he stops the student boycott, and his pay is cut for summer. Hungry for cash, he enters Tomoko in an idol contest.

Fuyutsuki is assigned to teach an advanced class with Teshigawara, who takes the opportunity to set a carefully planned trap for her.

Hakamada challenges Murai to a sports match to end the standoff, but fails miserably. Onizuka and Murai’s mother hit it off and go out for a drink.

Onizuka manages to enrage Fuyutsuki again on a date. But when he tries to soothe his sorrows at a phone sex club, he encounters one of his students.

Miyabi’s mother, head of the PTA, asks the school to expel Chikako and Erika for paid dating and to fire Onizuka immediately. What will the school do?

A scout discovers Tomoko, who decides to quit school to be a pop idol. Her parents and Fuyutsuki are dead set against it, but Onizuka is all for it!

His job on the line, Onizuka crashes at Fuyutsuki’s place to study for a test. Miyabi goes to the amusement park at night despite Murai’s warnings.
