The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today

After another late night of working overtime, office worker Saku returns home to her unusually large cat Yukichi, who does all the cooking and chores.

Saku wonders how Yukichi got so big. She recalls that Orizuka said he has met her cat before, but she can't remember when the encounter occurred.

Self-conscious about her colleagues' impression of her, Saku asks Yukichi to teach her how to cook. He starts with a simple egg and rice dish.

As promised, Saku goes to the aquarium to meet Orizuka and finds him waiting with his niece. He abruptly asks Saku to help babysit the young girl.

Yume invites Yukichi and Saku to her birthday party. Saku says she'll go alone, but Yukichi points out a way he can attend without raising suspicion.

Saku begs Yukichi to let her buy a new heated table. Later, she tries taking a typical cat-like photo of him to send to her concerned mother.

Saku wonders what will happen to Yukichi if she ever finds someone to marry. A scary TV show makes her afraid to take a bath or go to bed.

While out shopping, Yukichi encounters Yume, who has found a stray kitten. She refuses to leave its side until she finds someone to take it in.

When Saku comes home drunk, Yukichi pulls out all the stops to prevent her from getting a hangover. Later, he volunteers to help clean up the park.

With Yukichi's help, Saku prepares to go on a company retreat, but she worries if they can both cope with being apart for two whole days.
