An incarcerated Arata tells Yuka how he's become inspired by Nagaya's autobiography. One year after his release, he meets her in Roppongi.

As the police question Ryota and Arata about serving alcohol to the underage Aoi and Ryuji, Ryuga arrives and flaunts his father's influence.

Aoi declares herself the manager of Arata's izakaya and quickly proves her worth by identifying the multitude of improvements that need to be made.

Yuka invites herself to the izakaya staff’s get-together, where Arata declares his intention to expand his business into a nationwide franchise.

Needing a way to shift the shareholding ratio in his favor, Arata brings Aoi to meet with one of his suppliers, who is also an old acquaintance.

Arata tells an emotional Aoi his bold plan to outsmart Nagaya. Later, the izakaya staff encounters a peculiar woman who makes an ominous prediction.

Ryuga comes to Aoi with a lucrative offer to join Nagaya Holdings. When she seems to accept, he starts bragging about the events of 12 years earlier.

Following Ryuga's sentencing, Nagaya acknowledges Arata as his enemy. The izakaya staff agrees to participate in the televised cooking competition.

Business booms for Miyabe the Second following the TV competition. But as Arata prepares for the franchisee seminar, his investors pull their funding.
