With her marriage beyond repair, Rika visits Yuka in Tokyo. Later, she runs into an eccentric childhood friend and brings him to her parents’ home.

A mysterious outsider infiltrates an important meeting at Gentaro’s company. The Ito family worries that Manabu might not be the right man for Mika.

Noticing that many small businesses are being forced to close, Gentaro resolves to do something to help. A broken cell phone makes Mika oddly happy.

Finally realizing how much Yuji means to her, Mika rushes to his apartment. Rika gets a lead on the owner of the book that she accidentally took home.
