When the extravagant heir to a huge corporation joins the police, his first job is to help an elderly gentleman find a particular restaurant in Tokyo.

To help a failing ramen stall, Ryotsu suggests delivering the food by hot-air balloon. Business booms, but attracts the attention of the authorities.

The officers discuss playing the lottery, which Ryotsu dismisses as a game that takes no skill — until the chief's big win inspires him to try it.

When Ryotsu gets hold of a secondhand shaved ice machine, he has Nakagawa fly in a gigantic chunk of ice from the Arctic to make the most of it.

After dealing with some thugs who illegally parked their car, Reiko learns that posters with her face and phone number have appeared around town.

Ryotsu and Nakagawa wake up the notoriously lazy police officer Higurashi, who only works once every four years but possesses an incredible ability.

Reiko spots a suspicious man on Kachidoki bridge and later determines his name from his seized car. Ryotsu recalls the man from his school days.

With some good luck, Ryotsu wins box seat tickets to a sumo event and invites Nakagawa, Reiko and die-hard sumo fan Chief Ohara to attend with him.
